These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of Building IQ ("Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
- Upload malicious code or content
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
3. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a licence to store, display, and process that content as necessary to provide the Service.
4. Service availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You can cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your billing period.
6. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Building IQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to the Service
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We'll provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
